oh, that face...after coming across these images i couldn't help but to look around for more of this delicate little creature. romanian model, andreea diaconu is a breath of fresh air to the modeling industry. although she has really been around for quite a few seasons; first walking for d&g spring/summer 2006. featured on countless magazine covers and signing with seven different agencies only proves the establishment of her career. i sure do hope we see more of her.

these two images have been circulating my thoughts ever since i caught sight of them awhile back. australian model, alexandra agoston somehow is able to keep herself composed while being ethereal and edgy. and the alexander wang leather corset shorts that stevie dance so perfectly presents, reminds me of an old pigskin from the 20's.

this precious short film was introduced to me by a dear friend of mine. starring jason schwartzman and kirsten dunst, the film properly displays the spring/summer '10 opening ceremony collection. watching the 5-plus minute film gives one a sense of nostalgia with its grainy imagery. seeing the faux relationship pan out can make anyone long for something similiar...even if it only lasts until the credits roll.

these two photos launched my desire to own an embellished headdress of my very own. i don't know exactly what i would do if i were to actually have one in my posession. i'd probably wander around (in the privacy of my own home/landscape) freely and snap a photo or two.

i know summer is approaching, but i really can't help thinking how perfect this would be as a part of my wardrobe. it's sort of hit and miss for me, when it comes to being attracted to loud prints. this m missoni striped knit has just the perfect blend of colors.

to frolick about in this environment and lighting is made for those free spirits. i found this editorial while skimming through mirage, a coffee table-like book, during my lunch break. after seeing these images, i immediately jumped into line to make my purchase. the editorial gives me the feeling that with just a couple of articles of clothing and the ocean landscape the summer will be invigorating.

on a side note: after years of wanting to attend, coachella...i am finally able to do just that. the official countdown begins!

i can't even recall when and where i first laid my eyes upon, chrishabana. all i know is that i love the birth name (the designer's first and last name, combined)...and well, the line itself. every piece looks as though it were intricately molded and hammered in a careless way. it's trying without really trying.

i can not say enough about this editorial featured in the february 2010 issue of, elle russia. it's nice to see my favourite past time emulated with beautiful clothing. if i could lounge on rooftops overlooking the city all day long; i most definitely would.
